I ordered two Kung fu uniforms from Fabrics of the Water Dragon and they are exactly what I wanted—comfortable, precisely fitted, and beautiful! As I designed my outfits, I thought that the video and pictures of the fabrics were beautiful, but they do the actual finished products no justice. These uniforms look amazing. I cannot praise Marco and Water Dragon Fabrics enough! I wanted a custom design comprised of styles that I've seen on various Tai Chi masters. Marco really provided hands-on, valuable feedback with the design. He was perfect at letting me express all of my ideas and then helping to form them into this custom design. I am color blind and have a really hard time choosing colors. I usually just choose black. But for this outfit I wanted a softer, lighter feel with very breathable material as I live in a warm climate.
Marco's patience was abundant as I changed my mind a few times until we settled on this lovely sand-like color. Although it was out of my comfort zone, I wound up loving this color and it was all Marco's suggestion. The outfit looks and FEELS so elegant and well made. The sizing is perfect as Marco really helped me clarify the measurements to get them correct.
I couldn't have done it without him and his expertise.
I'm really looking forward to co-creating my next outfit with Water Dragon Fabrics and experimenting with different designs and colors, knowing that it will turn out exactly as I hope.

Exactly what I was looking for!
After some trial and error with other brands, I finally found the clothing for meditation and Qi Gong and Yoga I was looking for. My choice fell on a Tai Chi/Kung Fu outfit with jacket and inside liner made of Fine Cotton/Hemp Blend. These are fantastic garments. I like everything about mine: the optics, the fit, the material, the quality and the feel of it. It feels so pleasant and comfortable that I rarely wear anything else at home. The measurement system for the tailor-made clothing works great. The jacket and pants both allow a large range of motion and the pants with the special insets fit for any cross-legged meditation position as well. My expectations were definitely exceeded.

In my 19 years of studying Shaolin Kung Fu and Yang Style Tai Chi I have been in constant search for the perfect uniform. Still super happy!
I was looking for a custom tailored Taiji uniform for demonstrations and videos. After some research of the options out there I went with Fabrics of The Waterdragon. I was glad I did. Although at first the variety of styles, trim, colors and fabrics were quite overwhelming, it was a fun process designing a custom look. I didn’t go too extravagant. I liked the different fabric qualities and found a medium weight dark blue fabric and added sword cuffs and some simple cream trim. The measuring was very detailed and the fit is perfect. Not too baggy, but loose enough to move smoothly. I liked that I could choose pockets, pant cuffs and even the number of frog buttons. Marco had great communication throughout the process and I could tell he really wanted me to be happy with the end product. I was and still am.
