Our Story:

Fabrics of the Water Dragon began with a simple idea: martial arts deserves clothing made the way the practice itself is taught — by hand, with patience, and one person at a time.

Every piece we make is hand-tailored by Mr. and Mrs. Ying, a family-run workshop in Muping, Yantai, in China's Shandong province. No factory line. No standard sizes. Just two skilled tailors, and a garment cut specifically for you.

From the website and photos I thought the clothes from Water Dragon Fabrics would be nice but the custom garments exceeded all my expectations. They are very well made, the fabric is high quality, and being custom tailored - they fit great.

  • Choose your design - browse our styles and pick the silhouette that fits your practice.

  • Choose your fabrics - select the material that fits how you train and move.

  • Add it to your cart - lock in your design and fabric choices.

  • Submit your measurements - the step that makes it yours. This is where we stop building a template and start building your garment.

  • Review and approve your order - once we have both your order and your measurements, we'll send you a full summary to check over. Nothing goes to our tailor until you've confirmed everything is correct.
